Enoch Robinson Perkins was a son of Henry and Amelia Bartlett Perkins (née Sherman). He was born in the family house at 201 Main Street, Bridgewater, Massachusetts and worked for his father at the family Iron Foundry (The Henry Perkins Company) all his life. During the 1930s he was President of that foundry.

A man of honest character and retiring disposition Mr. Perkins was a loving father and enjoyed singing with the local chorale group. He played the piano quite well and served often as accompanist for his daughter Isabella. During his freer moments Mr. Perkins could be found tending his considerable vegetable garden and extensive flower beds. Peaceable and unobtrusive by nature, Mr. Perkins was of a singularly kind and understanding nature.

He married, in 1902, Katherine Ray Turner of Middleboro, Massachusetts.

They raised four children:

Elizabeth James Perkins (1904 - 1989)
Isabella Greene Perkins (1906 - 1988)
Julian Turner Perkins (1907 - 1978)
Amelia Ray (Perkins) Hall (1910 - 1985)

All above included in a photograph here-attached.

The family home was located at 168 Main Street, Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
