Verlin E. Baldridge, 63, of Belleville, died Tuesday, May 15 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville.
He was a steam fitter. He was a member of the Plumbers and Fitters Local 101 and an Army Veteran of WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Caroline M. Baldridge, nee Tiemann; two daughters: Mrs. Don (Verleen) Hausmann of Belleville; Mrs. Waldron (Patricia) Hamann of Belleville; a son, Barry Baldridge of Belleville; four sisters: Mrs. David (Ida) Sliger of Centralia; Mrs. Letha Blackburn of Centralia; Mrs. Rada Daren of Centralia; Mrs. Jim (Zelma) Holecek of Hamill; three brothers: Hobert Baldridge of East St. Louis; Troy Baldridge of Centralia; Grant Baldridge of Centralia; and 9 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11am Friday, May 18 at the Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home, Belleville. Burial will be Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville.
