Bonnie L. Valleskey, age 67, of 3809 Branch River Road, Branch, died Thursday, August 25, 2016 at her residence with her loving husband at her side. The former Bonnie Baumann was born on February 5, 1949 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Norbert J. and Ludmilla E. "Millie" (Cisler) Baumann, Sr. She graduated with the class of 1967 from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. After high school, Bonnie attended beauty school. She owned and operated Beautifair Styling Salon in Two Rivers for over 25 years. In 2000, Bonnie fulfilled a lifelong dream of graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay with a Bachelors of Arts Degree. On April 18, 1970 she married Michael L. Valleskey at St. Michael Catholic Church in Whitelaw. Bonnie was a member of First Lutheran Church and a member of the Stephen Ministry. She participated as an assisting minister at First Lutheran Church. She loved spending money on her grandchildren, watching television with her dogs, Lucy and Annie and loved knowing she was living on her parents homestead for the past year until the time of her death.She is survived by her husband: Michael L. Valleskey, Branch; three sons and daughters-in-law: Scott (Amy) Valleskey, Branch and their children: Parker and Autumn; Mark (Neddra) Valleskey, Charlotte, NC and their child: Avery; Adam (Kirstin) Valleskey, Manitowoc and their children: Joshua, Caitlin and baby boy to be born in two weeks; one brother and sister-in-law: Norbert (Victoria) Baumann, Jr., Branch; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Pam (Wayne) Riha, Kentwood, MI, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Norbert and Millie Baumann, Sr.; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Lyle and Ora Mae Valleskey."Mom loved life and those in her life, loved her. She enjoyed being active in the Church and helping those who faced their own challenges. Her grandchildren stole her heart and she cherished every minute with them. She loved being their "Nana". Mom, you are whole again and at peace. We will cherish you in our hearts forever. Until we meet again, go walk, talk and sing with the angels in Heaven."Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at First Lutheran Church, 521 North 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Roald Harswick will officiate with burial at Knollwood Memorial Park. -
