George A. Ketcham, of 60 Main St., West Millgrove, died Friday, morning at Fostoria City Hospital after a 1 1/2 year illness.

He was born Oct. 11, 1913 in West Millgrove to Richard and Olive (Brenneman) Ketcham. He married Katherine Shelton in Fostoria, Oct. 13, 1940, and she survives.

Also surviving are three sons; Terry, of Risingsum; Tracy, of Wayne; and Randall, of West Millgrove; also, one daughter, Robin, at home. Also surviving are four grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Ione Stoner, West Millgrove, and Mrs. Grace Gooch, Phoenix, Ariz.

He was preceded by his parents and one daughter.

He was a member and trustee of the West Millgrove Congregational Church. He served as mayor of West Millgrove for 12 years and belonged to the Wood County Mayors Association.

Services will be at 1:30 pm Monday at the Brandt Funeral Home, Wayne, the Rev. Paul D. Parker, officiating.

Burial will be in Fountain Cemetery.

Visitation will at 7-9 tonight and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.

Cause Of Death: Act. septicemia and pneumonia.
