Miss Johanna Guentz, 73, member of a pioneer family of Belleville, died at her home , 215 South Charles Street, at 3 o'clock this morning following an extended illness.
Miss Guentz was born in Belleville June 30, 1874, and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Guentz, nee Eimer. Her father was born in Germany and her mother in St. Louis.
She is survived by four sisters:
Eugenia, wife of Attorney Louis Klingel
Helen, wife of Bernard Hartman, Arlington, Va.
Miss Josephine Guentz, 215 S Charles St.
Mrs. Camilla Driemeyer, 55 Granvue Dr.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday from the residence to Walnut Hill Cemetery.
