Funeral Today for Robert Bradford

Robert Lee Bradford, 66, who lived here practically all his life, passed away at 11:15 Tuesday night in the Big Springs State Hospital. He had been in failing health more than a year, and entered the hospital December 8.

Funeral services are being held at 3 this (Thursday) afternoon at the United Methodist Church. The pastor, Rev Walter V. O'Kelly, and Rev. Ray Norman of Goldsmith, will officiate.

The body will lay in state at Wylie funeral Home until 2 P.m.

Burial will be in the Albany Cemetery under direction of Wylie Funeral Home.

Mr. Bradford was born June 28, 1890, in Tarrant County the son of the late R.S. and Matilda Perkins Bradford. He came to Shackelford County with his parents when very young, and was reared here.

He was married to Minnie Ola Balliew Oct. 16, 1912.

Mr. Bradford spent his life as a dairyman and farmers herem and was a conscientinus, Christian gentleman. He had been a member of the Methodist Church since childhood.
