Eunice Olivia Mumford, age 97, of Ocala, FL passed away Saturday, November 18, 2006, at Estelle's Hospice House. She was born December 14, 1908 in Ohoopee, GA and came to Ocala in 1967 from Fruitland Park, FL. She was a homemaker, charter member of Fruitland Park Baptist Church, a member of Fort King Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening as a hobby. Mrs. Mumford is survived by five sons; James Mumford, Jr. of Belleview, Harry Mumford of Citra, Luther Mumford of Anthony, Douglas Mumford of Ocala, and Tommy Mumford of Ocklawaha and one daughter Margaret Roberts of Brunswick, GA and 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James S. Mumford, Sr., son, Johnie A. Mumford, grandson Dwight Mumford and five brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at HIERS FUNERAL HOME, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL. Visitation will be Monday, November 20, 2006 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
