Arlene worked for the Oakdale Veterinary Hospital for over 40 years. She had an immense love for all animals. She often brought the hospitalized animals special food & bedding to comfort them. She never let a stray cat or dog go hungry. She also had a passion for Bingo. She made many friends around the Bingo table. She was often a big winner much to her delight. She was also a long time member & very active with the Oakdale Soroptimist Club.
Arlene leaves behind a brother Clay Agadoni, daughter Linda (Bill) Welch, son Russ (Shelly) Carpenter, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Carpenter, sister Winifred Burke & grandson Jacob.
Visitation will be from 4-7pm on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Oakdale Memorial Chapel. Burial will be on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11:00 at the Patterson Cemetery, Patterson, CA.
