She married Fred Huffaker on March 9, 1940, they had one daughter, Singa Huffaker Bernon.
She worked at Southside Grocery for many years. She had a love for gardening, cooking, drawing and painting. She was a member of 11th Avenue Church. She loved all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Scott, Cody and Elias Cienega, Amy Menchaca and Elisa Bernon; and great-grandchildren, Aaron Wheeler, Samantha, Jacob, Ethan and Coby Cienega, Elianna Menchaca, Emily, Andrew, and Paizlee Cienega, Destini Bernon, Hailee Cienega, Ava and Aubri Ortiz and Connor Cienega.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Huffaker, on Oct. 30, 1997.
