Herman Russell

Herman Edwin Russell, 97, Stillwater, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, in his home. Graveside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Oak Park Cemetery in Ripley. Strode Funeral Home is directing the services.
Russell was born Dec. 17, 1904, in Dixon, Mo., to Neva May (Craft) and Adolphus Russell. He married Loretta M. Fillmore June 14, 1930, in Guthrie. He was a member of Sunnybrook Christian Church.
He was predeceased by his parents; one son, Charles; two brothers; two sisters and one half brother.
He is survived by two sons, Harley E. Russell, Stillwater, Conley E. Russell, Silverdale, Wash.; two daughters, Lois Gray, Stigler, Retha Felkner, Lamar, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be his Sunday school class, the Prime Timers.
