Mr. Frank Brookins Passed to Beyond
After an illness of many weeks duration, Mr. Frank Brookins passed away Thursday morning at his home at Midway, the announcement coming as a shock to the many friends of the family.

Mr. Brookins had been in ill health for a least a year or more and while everything possible to restore his former strength had been done, it was known for several weeks before his death that his condition was growing weaker. For along while he was away from his home under treatment at a hospital. Finally his condition became hopeless and his attending physicians so advised his relatives and he was allowed to return home to spend the remainder of his time.

The funeral for this deceased citizen was held from the residence Friday afternoon at four o'clock, Rev. McCluney, pastor of the Midway Baptist Church, officiating.

Mr. Brookins is survived by his widow and two children; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.T. Brookins, of Birmingham, Ala.; one brother, Arthur Brookins, of Birmingham, and one sister, Mrs. R.E. Callaway, of Midway.

Interment took place in the cemetery in Milledgeville.
