W. S. Murray Dies Suddenly
Wesley S. Murray, 301 West Wade, a retired automobile mechanic, died unexpectedly shortly afternoon last Thursday.
Mr. Murray was born July 6, 1887, at Salina, Kan., and moved to Canadian county in 1892 with his parents. He had lived west of El Reno and in El Reno since that time with the exception of a few years when he operated a garage at Sapulpa and while he was employed at Tinker field during World war II.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. J. E. Hargrove, Overland Park, Kan., a son, Gordon Murray, Los Angeles, Calif., a sister, Mrs. J. D. Biggers, Rochelle, Ill.; three brothers, Archie Murray, Wenatchee, Wash., Glenn Murray, Malvern, Ark., and William C. Murray, El Segundo, Calif.; two grandchildren, Janet and Steve Hargrove, Overland Fark.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Wilson funeral home chapel with burial in the El Reno cemetery under direction of Wilson.
