H P "Pink" Bowers, 76, died at his home late Wednesday night after a few months illness.
Mr Bowers was born in Hampton County, the son of the late Albert P and Eady C Bowers.
Survivors include three nephews, Roy Bowers of Brunson, Laurie Bowers of Charleston, and Harry Bowers of Walterboro, and two nieces, Mrs Daisy Rivers of Hampton and Mrs Maude Terry of Brunson.
