He retired from Pure Oil Co. in 1966 and was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Flora.
Surviving are two sons, Arnold of Sacramento, Calif., and Fred of San Antonio; two sisters, Rosabel McGehee of Fairfield and Mabel Hamilton of Whiteston, Va.; a brother, Lowell "Sug" of Flora; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. His wife, Norma A. (Brach), died in 1998.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Hosselton Funeral Home, with entombment in Cisne Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Flora Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
