Ada Riedy, 99, of Nazareth, formerly of Allentown, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013 in Gracedale, Nazareth. Ada was the wife of the late Ralph Colonel Allen Riedy who died in 1970. Born in Bally, PA, Ada was a daughter of the late Charles and Ella (Bauer) Covely. Ada worked as an office clerk for 12 years for the former Fab-Knit Mills in Allentown retiring in 1978. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Allentown. Ada was the Secretary of American Legion Auxiliary Unit #818. Additionally she was the past President from 1958 to 1960 and the past Treasurer from 1962 to 1963.

Survivors: She is survived by her daughter Dorothy wife of Stephen J. Kohler Jr. of Easton; and brothers, Eugene Fichter of Allentown and Joseph Fichter of Fogelsville; Ada has 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her son, Richard C. Riedy; her daughter, Catherine Keller; and her brothers, Charles Fichter, and Robert Fichter; and two great-grandchildren.
