He was born December 21, 1900 in Elkton, South Dakota. He came to the Cedarhome area in 1902. He worked a number of years in the lumber and logging industry. He married the love of his life Reta Grace Mooers in a ceremony at the home of the parents of the bride. They settled in the Stanwood area; where they raised four boys and one girls. Carl was a member of the Camwood Senior Center and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Carl leaves his wife Grace, four sons, Walt and Bob both of Stanwood, Norm of Mount Vernon, Dick of Everett, One daughter Dick (Bessie) Harrison of Everett, one sister Mrs. William (Frances) Parsons of Stanwood, one aunt Gust (Tilda) Forstrom of Stanwood, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m, April 8th at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, with be in the family section of Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home of, Stanwood.
