Addison "Addy" H. Martin, 80, of Lee's Summit, MO passed away on August 10, 2016 at Research Medical Center. Addy was born January 17, 1936 in Lancaster Co., PA. He was the owner of MAR Enterprises, a general contractor and builder, served on the Board of Directors of Lee's Summit Social Services, and attended 1st Baptist Church of Lee's Summit.

Addy's favorite pastime was heading to South Texas to fish. As a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he will be greatly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Frances and brother, Samuel Landis. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth; children, Earl (Kim), Gladys (James); Glenda; and Addison, Jr. (Shannon); 8 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Monday August 15 at First Baptist Church of Lee's Summit from 7-9pm. Funeral services were Tuesday August 16 at First Baptist Church of Lee's Summit at 11am. Burial was at Floral Hills East. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lee's Summit Social Services.
