Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 24, 2005 at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Claude J. Baronet, age 90, who died at 8:00 AM Thursday, December 22, 2005 at his residence in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Calvary Mausoleum.
Survivors include his daughter, Doris Dean Baronet Campbell of Lafayette; one son, Willie Baronet of Lafayette; two sisters, Clara Simon of Groves, Texas and Joyce Walker of Broussard; eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Odile Dupuis Baronet; mother, Loretta LeBlanc Baronet; father, Prosper Baronet; one son-in-law, C.L. "Ray" Campbell and one daughter-in-law,Dorothy G. Baronet.
A native of Acadia Parish and resident of Lafayette since 1945, Mr.Baronet was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, he also enjoyed bowling.
