Billy Ray Adams went home to be with the Lord Aug. 2, 2016.
Born in Lake Arthur, New Mexico Feb. 5, 1940.
His family moved to Herlong, California where he attended school, and eventually ran the Post Texaco Station. In 1972, he purchased Plumb Lane Shell in Reno. In 1978, he was co/owner of Lassen Plumas Gas, and then worked at Sierra Army Depot from 1992 to 1997.
Retiring in 1997, moved to Canyonville, Oregon and in 2010 moved to Redding, California. Bill loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and being a Grandfather.
Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years; sons; stepsons; stepdaughters,; sister; Aunt; 17 Grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bill is preceded in death by son, Michael Adams; mother, Lousie Adams; father, William Adams; brother, Sonny Adams; sister, Barbara Sargent; niece, Patty DeLapo; and great granddaughter, Brooklyn Ballenger.
Bill will be laid to rest and at Diamond Crest Cemetery in Johnstonville, California
