Miss Rhoda Dolan Dies at Age of 82
Funeral Service and Burial Will Be at Mooresville.
Miss Rhoda Dolan, a resident of the Lambelt hotel, died at 12:50 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Chillicothe hospital. Miss Dolan had been in failing health two years and a patient at the hospital for a week. She was 82.
Miss Dolan, a resident of Missouri since 1893, was a daughter of John A. Dolan and Elizabeth Caroline Toothman. She was born Dec. 30, 1884, at Williamsburg W. Va. With her parents, she came to Missouri and settled south of Nettleton in 1893. The family later moved to Mooresville.
She was a member of the Mooresville Methodist church.
Miss Dolan is survived by a brother, Raymond Dolan, Mooresville; three sisters, Mrs. Fairy Poulson, Breckenridge; Mrs. Mary Post, St. Joseph, and Mrs. Ben Edwards, California.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lee Dolan, Ed Dolan and North Dolan.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Mooresville Methodist church. The Rev. John Gooding, minister, will officiate.
Burial will be in the family lot at the Mooresville cemetery, under direction of the Norman Funeral Home.
The body will lie in state at the Norman Funeral Home until noon Tuesday, at which time it will be removed to the church to line in state until the hour of the service.
