He leaves behind cherished memories to his wife of 47 years, Mrs. Betty Jean Adams of the home; five children, Kenneth Williams Adams (Amy Bostic Adams) of Shelby, Jason Douglas Adams (Vickie) of Salisbury, Jennifer Sparks (Paul) of Polkville, Kevin Brian Adams (Shannon Hamrick) of the home and Patrick Christopher Adams of the home; ten grandchildren, Christopher Ryan Adams, Brooke Dawn Sparks, Melissa Dawn Sparks, Madison Marie McDonald, Joseph Alex McDonald, William Dalton McDonald, Alexandria Owens, Hope Owens Zackery Owens and Sarah Cortes; one great-grandchild, Liam Tobias Robbins; two sisters, Mary Sue Campbell of Cherryville and Brenda Kay Barrett of Shelby; numerous nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was a member of the Old Rugged Cross Baptist Church in Shelby. He was a great conversationalist with a warm and outgoing personality, he enjoyed hobbies of fishing, hunting and farming. He worked approximately 35 years at Boggs Farm Service on farm machinery.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at Old Rugged Cross Baptist Church, 2506 Shoal Creek Church Road, Shelby NC 28152 with the Rev. Jerry Allen and Rev.Chis Devine officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
