Mother of Bennington Woman Dies In North Adams
North Adams, Jan. 6 - Mrs. Isabel Champine, a resident of this city, passed away at her home, 274 Beaver street Tuesday, January 4, after an illness of three months. Mrs. Champine was at one time a resident of Arlington, Vt., but during the past 12 years has lived in North Adams.
She was 57 years of age, and has many friends and acquaintances who will mourn her loss. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Aaron Hill of Bennington, Mrs. Burt Reed of North Adams, and Mrs. Gertrude Cary of Troy, N.Y. There also survive four sons, Oscar and Sanford of Bennington and Arnold and Everett of North Adams. One brother, Oscar Cross of South Shaftsbury survives as well.
The funeral will be held from the late residence of the deceased in North Adams Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Burial will be in Arlington, Mrs. Champine's former home.
