Gertrude (Barrette) George, 96, of Lexington Ave., West Warwick, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016 at West View Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Warwick.
She was the wife of the late John J. George Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Barrette.
Mrs. George was a secretary for many years before retiring.
She is survived by her neighbors, Robert and Dorothy Sampaio.
Visitation and funeral will be held Monday, Aug. 15, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 am in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence St., West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick.
