Jay Mason Williams, 73, of Mt. Airy passed away unexpectedly on August 10, 2016. He was the loving husband of the late Sandra Williams for 36 years. Born August 29, 1942 to the late Howard J. Williams and Margaret Mason. Jay was a very simple man who was loving, loyal, and just plain awesome. He was a great dad and family man who was loved by all. His strong personality was evident to all he knew. He is survived by his sons; Jason Williams and Wade Williams and wife Cindy. Granddaughter Lilli and Son-in-law Nathan Waller. Grandson; Alex Williams. And great-grandchildren; Karsen and Emma Jay Waller. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by son; Stephen. Aunt; Jane Williams. Brother; Jon Williams. And father-in-law; Howard McDaniel. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 19th at 430 PM at the Historical Chapel at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick. Inurnment with military honors will follow in the Garden of Veterans II at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
