ORVILLE BROWN
Stone Dr. (R.9), died 6:15 a.m. Sunday at his home. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Stanford Baptist Church.
Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Clara May, who died in 1960. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Glen (Ruth) Roberts of Bedford, Mrs. Wilbur (Esther)Shippey of Barrien Springs, Mich., and Mrs. Merle (Agnes) Jolly of 1314 Stone Dr.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A granddaughter, Patricia Jolly, died in 1960.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greene and Harrell Chapel, with burial in Greene County Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Harley Skirvin will officiate, and grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the mortuary until time for the service.
