Magee — Georgette Ferris Magee died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Lillian E. Jones, 217 Weldon St., Rochester, Nov. 23. Mrs. Magee was born on a farm near Eaton Rapids, Mich., March 13, 1849, a daughter of Judge Richard Ferris and Catherine Cook Ferris. Judge Ferris was the first judge of Sorghum Co., Mich. On May 16, 1878 Mrs. Magee was married to John H. Magee of Conesus. Of that union were born four children, all of whom are living. They are Mrs. Roy L. Perkins of Quincy, Mass., J. Ferris Magee; of Syracuse, Rev. Hugh W. Magee of Waterford and Mrs. John W. Teitsworth of Groveland. A sister, Mrs. Lillian E. Jones of Rochester and a brother. Edward Ferris of Eaton Rapids and several grandchildren remain to mourn her loss. Funeral services were held at her sister's home in Rochester and from the Presbyterian church in Groveland Monday afternoon, Nov. 25. Rev. L. F. Mayle, pastor, officiating. Interment in the Union cemetery at Scottsburg.

Mrs. Georgette Magee 80, widow of John H, Magee, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Lillias Jones, 217 Welden Street, Rochester this morning. She leaves two sons, J. Ferris Magee of Syracuse, and Rev. Hugh Magee of Waterford, two daughters, Mrs. Roy Perkins, Boston, and Mrs. John Titsworth, Scottsburg, and one sister, Mrs. Lillias Jones, Rochester, and one brother, E. Ferris Magee of Grand Rapids, Mich., and nine grandchildren.

A prayer service will be held from the home of Mrs. Lillias Jones at Rochester, Monday at 12 o'clock noon. Funeral services will be held from the Presbyterian Church, Groveland Hall at 2 p.m. Rev. L.F. Mayle officiating. Burial will be made in Union cemetery, Scottsburg.
