Services for Joshua Edward Shirley, 73, Waurika, were held Tuesday afternoon, April 14, in the First Methodist church of Hastings, with the Rev. Clent Purtrell and the Rev. Curtiss Walker officiating.
Shirley died Monday, April 13, in a Duncan hospital. He had been a lifelong resident of the area. Interment was in Hastings cemetery.
Among his survivors is a daughter, Mrs. Sidney B. Love, Jr., of Idabel.
