Claudia Stapp was the daughter of James T. and Geneva Sweeney. She was married to Charles L. Stapp and had two sons by a previous marriage. Claudia passed away after having by-pass surgery. She was my friend and I loved her.

Claudia F. Sweeney Stapp, 64, died Saturday, July 30, 2005, in Fort Worth. Funeral services were Monday, Aug. 1, at First Baptist Church in Graham. Interment was in Pioneer Cemetery. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She was born Sept. 8, 1940, in Young County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James T. and Geneva Sweeney; a brother, James A. Sweeney; and by a previous husband, Dr. Gene Upshaw.
Survivors include her husband, Chuck L. Stapp of Graham; two sons, James O. Jackson and Mark A. Jackson, both of Breakenridge; step-son, Mike Stapp of Springfield, MO; step-daughter, Melissa Stapp, of MO; three sisters, Jewel Abbott of Graham, Kathy Alexander of Arlington and Gail Holman of Graham; three brothers, Herbert Sweeney of Springtown, Neal Sweeney of Graham and Dale Sweeney of Wichita Falls; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
