From the 2/12/1913 Van Wert, Ohio, Daily Times: "Mrs. Louisa Adams, an aged inmate at the infirmary, who had passed the 78th milestone in life's journey, died at the institution at 3 o'clock Tuesday morning. Appendicitis was the cause of death. The deceased was a native of Kentucky and has been at the county farm for about four years; she was an aunt of Mrs. Walter McConahay, South Harrision Street, from whose home the funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning at 10 o'clock."
