Rebecca York, 46, of Fairfield, died Thursday, August 11, 2016, in Tyler. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, August 14, 2016, at Capps Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, August 15, 2016, at Capps Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Stewards Mill Cemetery.
Rebecca was born in Grapevine, Texas, to James William "Bill" and Loretta Freestone Baker. She had been a Fairfield resident since 2001 moving here from Southlake. She married Justin York in November 2004. She was employed with the Fairfield Independent School District and was a member of Caney Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta Baker, in 2007; and a half-brother, Jody Baker in 2013.
Survivors include her husband, Justin; children, James and Harley York; father, Bill Baker and his wife, Linda, of Streetman; brothers, John Presley Baker and his wife, Michelle, of Rhome, TX, and Randy Day and his wife, Brandi, of Ft. Worth; sisters, Robin Bowling and her husband, Jack, of Colleyville, TX, and Pam Poteet, of Midlothian; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. H5
