Janice Eileen BOOTH-NELSON (06/01/1939 - 05/02/2016)

On the morning of May 2, 2016, Janice Nelson passed away after a brief illness. She was 76 years old. Janice was born on June 1, 1939, in Sandpoint, Idaho. She grew up in Spokane, WA, graduating from Lewis and Clark High School in 1957. She is survived by her partner of 16 years, James Stockton, three children-Danny Nelson, Mike Nelson, and Jody Lineman-a granddaughter, Annalise Lineman, and a niece and nephew-Michelle Stockton and Joseph Booth. She was preceded in death by her brother, Terry DeLinton Booth, and her parents, Bertha and Terry Booth. Janice spent her entire life taking care of other people. She supported the Christian Children's Fund for over 30 years. Her hard work, dedication to raising her children, and sacrifices for others taught her children that the important things in life are love, generosity, and gentleness. Her friends and family will always remember her for her kindness, compassion, and grace.
A memorial will be held at Spokane-Cheney Memorial Gardens on September 10th at 1:00 p.m.
