Daughter of Earl James Sprouse and Margaret Aleen Johnston. She and her future husband, Andrew J Curtis, served as student body officers together at West High School in Salt Lake. She worked as a medical administrator for over 40 years for the University of Utah and the Veterans Administration, including the opening of 9 rural clinics in the western U.S. and a medical school in South Dakota. After raising her family her favorite activities involved her grandchildren, reading the scriptures and attending the LDS Temple.
