Geraldine Leona Bartlett Cooper, 85, of Eldon passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 10, 2016 at her home.
She was born on June 21, 1931 in Norfolk, Nebraska the daughter of Frank and Leslie (Shoemaker) Rokowski, who preceded her in death.
She was the owner and operator of Bartlett's Cafe in Lake Ozark with her family, worked at Shopsmith in Jefferson City, Missouri and worked in the Solo Optical Plant in Eldon, Missouri until her retirement.
Geraldine enjoyed tending to her many flower beds, vegetable gardens and had a special touch with flowers. She was a devout Christian and loved the Lord.
She enjoyed raising dogs, loved her cats and other animals and feeding the birds, especially the hummingbirds.
She is survived by three daughters: Marilyn (Danny) Plemmons of Brumley, Cheryl (Jeffery) Gilliam of Brumley, and Sandy Ash of Twin Lakes, Michigan; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter: Gloria Coffey; one grandson: Matthew Gilliam; one great-granddaughter: Kimberly Overby; one brother: Wayne Rokowski and one sister: Betty Rokowski Wendlent .
Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m.2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Millard-Rekus Family Funeral Chapel.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Millard-Rekus Family Funeral Chapel.
