Annie Laura "Baby Doll" Bonner, only daughter of Tom Robinson Bonner and Annie Laura Willard, was born at Bonnerville, Texas on October 18, 1914. Because Leslie first thought she resembled a baby doll, he called her that. She went through life with that nickname and seldom used her mother's which she was given. Her brothers called her Babe. She attended Texas University at Arlington, the University of Texas at Austin, and Sam Houston State University at Huntsville. While in college she belonged to San Souci, Athenian Club, and Alpha Xi Delta. Baby Doll married Forrest Edwards Wood on October 6, 1934 in Teague, Texas. They were parents of Sue Bonner and Forrest Edwards, Jr., known in the family as Buddy. Among other places, they lived between Tom and Laura and Leslie and Catherine on S. Fairway. Then they moved to 534 West Main Street in Fairfield. Baby Doll was a past matron of Fairfield Chapter No. 331, Order of the Eastern Star and served as Deputy Grand Matron, District I, Section 7 for Mary Brown, Worthy Grand Matron. At that time, Baby Doll joined Laura and Angie May as the only ones from Fairfield Chapter to receive a Deputy appointment and prompted a friend to comment, "If you want to be a Deputy from Fairfield, you've got to be a Bonner." She held memberships in the Woman's Club of Teague and Fairfield History Club. After retirement, they moved to 104 Forrest Drive in Fairfield and continued their ranching interests. FW was their cattle brand. In 1984 and in failing health, they enjoyed a quiet family celebration of their fiftieth wedding anniversary at home. A lifelong Baptist, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Fairfield. Baby Doll died in Fairfield on May 6, 2002.
