NANNIE E. BROWN of Person Co. aged 27, color-white, daughter of A.Y.BROWN and ALCEY BROWN.
The father living, the mother living, resident of Person County.

I believe (no proof found)Nancy Dies sometime between the birth of her 3rd Child Mary Ann in 1891 and James Henry's Move to Texas and Second Marriage in January 1899 to Miss Sarah Emma Jameson in Mansfield (just South East of Ft.Worth) Texas.

The next available Census or record is the 1900 Census reflecting this second marriage and still having the 3 children from his marriage to Nancy.

These are Sarah's (STEP)- children as they were born in NC before this marriage to Sarah took place.

Did Nancy Elizabeth die giving birth to another child?? Could she have died during the move from NC to TX?? Did she die shortly after their arrival in Texas?? I have researched every possible scenario and cannot find what really happened to my Great Grandmother.
