CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Ike Dewbre, 71, of Crosbyton will be at 11 a.m. today at Crosbyton First Baptist Church. The Rev. Roy Eason, pastor of First Assembly of God Church, and the Rev. Vance Mitchell, pastor of Cedar Hill Assembly of God Church in Cedar Hill, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Dewbre died at 12:15 a.m. Friday in Crosbyton Hospital after a long illness.

He was born Oct. 5, 1909, in Krum and married Vesta Richardson Oct. 16, 1933, in Clovis, N.M. Dewbre was a car body repairman and painter. He has resided in Crosbyton since 1925. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Crosbyton.

Survivors include his wife; his step-mother, Artie Dewbre of Crosbyton; three sons, Jacky, Freddie and Eddie, all of Crosbyton; three daughters, Vera Savage of Bloomfield, N.M., Cherly Cureton of Cove, Ark. and Yvonne Crausbay of Crosbyton; a brother, Earl of Lubbock; three half-brothers, James and Tony of Crosbyton and Fern of Shallowater; a sister, Ina Mae Whited of Hot Springs, Ark.; a half-sister, Loretta Clark of Brownwood; 12 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Bill Savage, Don Handley, Gary Mitchell, Chris Berry, Jackie Hamersley and John Pinkston.
