PARENTS: Luther Clark, born Hopkinton, Middlesex Co., MA., and Sally Walker, born Uxbridge, Worcester Co., MA.

MARRIAGE: Married Eliza Mundell, SEP 18, 1836, at Westminster, Windham Co., VT.

DAUGHTER: Eliza Angeline Clark, wife of Samuel C. Sherman.

DAUGHTER: Hannah Elizabeth Clark, wife of William J.G. Mundell, and later Francis "Frank" Noyes Sherman.

OCCUPATION: Farmer

RESIDENCE: Hubbardston, Leominster, Rutland, Worcester Co., MA.

GOOSE HILL CEMETERY: My grandmother took me to this unmarked cemetery, in Rutland, Worcester Co., MA. She called it Gooseneck Cemetery, but I believe it is now called "Goose Hill" Cemetery. Grandmother showed me a spot at the very back corner of the cemetery where Luther and his wife Eliza are buried. There are several illegible headstones in this area, but we do not know if they had a headstone or not.

CEMETERY LOCATION: It is on a steep embankment on the northwest side of the road. It shows on the Rutland, MA map as being on Charnock Rd, which runs northerly from Rte. 68 in North Rutland. At this point, across Rte. 68 is another road called River Road, actually a continuation of Intervale Rd." I took a picture of a house across the street near the cemetery to use as a landmark in case I needed to find it again. It was a two story house, that was yellow, and the address on the mailbox was #244.

PHOTOS: I don't have any photos of Adolphus Clark, but would like a copy, if anyone has one to share.
