1947 - 2016 William James Adams (Willie J.), a native of Jasper, Texas departed this life on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Beaumont Baptist Hospital. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at East Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1197 Corley Street, Beaumont, Texas under the direction of Comeaux Community Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. William will take his earthly rest on Monday, August 15th at 10:30 a.m. at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038. William was born on May 1, 1947 to the late Granson and Wilie Mae Adams. William leaves to cherish his memories two daughters; Angela Stewart (Rodney) of Stafford, Texas; Yvonne Sales (Sam) of Dallas, Texas; three brothers: Louis Adams (Leah) of Jasper, Texas; Henry Adams (Verona) of Beaumont, Texas; and Arthur Adams of Kirbyville, Texas. He also leaves behind a long-life companion and guardian, Antoinette Gilbert, five grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
