Ernest T. Kennett, 68, a resident of Spokane more than 44 years, died yesterday in a Spokane hospital. His body is at Thornhill-Carey funeral home. A member of St. David's Episcopal church and the Elks lodge, Kennett was a boiler inspector for the Northern Pacific railroad. At the time of death, he had worked more than 32 years for the NP and had spent some time as a young man working for other railroads before coming to Spokane. His home was at S1627 Perry. He had been a widower since August, 1953. Survivors include a son, Earl W. Kennett, and a daughter, Mrs. Clarice M. Abbey, both of Spokane; a brother Al Kennett of Monrovia, Calif., a sister, Mrs. Beds Cary of Yakima; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
