AGNES WERGIN
Mrs. Andrew Wergin, 67, of the Town of Gibson, Rt. 1, Mishicot, died at
the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, at 12:15 a.m. Thursday, where she
had been a patient a month. She had been in failing health for several
months.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Specht Funeral Home,
Mishicot, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Rev. George
Beth officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mishicot.
Mrs. Wergin, Nee Agnes Norkowske, was born at Manitowoc on April 11, 1888,
a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Kaczmarek Norkowske. She was married
at Manitowoc to Andrew Wergin on Nov. 21, 1910. In 1927, the family moved
to a farm in the Town of Gibson where she resided since.
Besides her husband, she leaves six daughters, Mrs. Ray Sneberg of Mishicot,
Mrs. Erwin Pleuss and Mrs. Marcelline Barbier of Manitowoc, Mrs. William
Gardner of Skokie, Ill., Mrs. Peter Hoovers?? of Kimberly, Wis., and Mrs.
Thomas O’Malley of Manitowoc; two sons, Daniel A. of Two Rivers and Leo of
Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Anton Zanda?? of Manitowoc; a brother, Anton
Norkowske of ____, Alberta, Canada; 26? grandchildren and two great grand-
children.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday where the Rosary
will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
