Bobby Gene Loyd, age 82, of Newport, passed away, Tuesday, August 9, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Loyd; parents, Charlie and Mary Loyd; son, Jessie Loyd; brothers, Eddie, Larry, Clarence, Donald and Johnny Loyd; and sister, Emiley Loyd.
He is survived by his sons, Charles (Tammy) Loyd, of Georgia, Johnny Loyd and William “Dickie Bob” Loyd; daughters, Gladys Ruth Killon all of Newport, Beatrice Williams of Pigeon Forge; brothers, Charles Loyd of Newport, James Loyd of Morristown; sister, Sally Davis of Morristown; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-four Great-grandchildren; special niece, Rusty (Junior) Mantooth; also other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Manes Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow in the Coleman Cemetery, White Pine at 2:00 pm.
