Marlene Louise Andress of Clermont, Florida, died on July 19, 2016. She is predeceased in death by her parents, Henry and Dorothy (Smith) Garner; brothers, Elmer and Edwin; daughter, Carold (Rev. Will) Baker. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Gene C. Andress, Clermont, Florida; brother, Charles Garner of St. Johns; daughter, Carlene (Stephen) Ehrlich of Clermont, Florida; son, David (Jill) Andress of Kissimmee, Florida; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Marlene and Gene moved to Brookdale Assisted Living in Clermont, Florida in December, 2015. When she died there the staff at Brookdale were extremely caring and supportive of her family. We want to formally thank them for that care and support. They all showed great compassion in our hour of greatest need. Thank you Brookdale staff, Clermont, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, July 27 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., with a graveside service to follow. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, July 26 at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service. Memories and condolances my be shared with the family at www.grlansing.com.
