PLAIN VIEW — William E. Massey, 82, died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 1986, at Carlinville Area Hospital.
He was a retired farmer, and was born in Saline County, a son of the late Henry and Martha (Stevens) Massey.
On Dec. 23, 1924, in Eldorado, he married the former Stella Wesley, and she died Feb. 28, 1959.
Surviving, are one daughter, Rebanell Brunaugh of Medora; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Deliah Tomchek of Corvallis, Ore.; and one brother, Fay Massey of Raleigh, Ill.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at Jacoby-Wise Funeral
Home in Bunker Hill, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Fred L. Beck officiating.
Burial will be in Moro Cemetery, and memorials may be sent to the Moro Presbyterian Church, where he was a member.
