Mr. Charles Curtis Andrews, Sr. age 92 of Conecuh County passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of Loree, and had resided at Monroe Manor for the last few years. Mr. Andrews was a World War II Purple Heart Veteran and was a mail carrier for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank Andrews and Georgia Davis Andrews and his wife Margaret Andrews.
Mr. Andrews is survived by one son Charles Curtis (Donna Lee) Andrews of Loree, AL; one daughter Shirley (Calvin) Johnson of Loree, AL; one sister Julia Reinhart of Monroeville, AL; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Arkadelphia Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Griffin officiating. Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
