"MacDougall - On Friday of last week occurred the death of Isaac Jolley, aged 78 years. Mr. Jolly has always lived in this locality and in his prime was a very successful farmer. On Sept. 7, 1852, Jolly was married to Miss Rebecca Leddick, and to them were born two children, a daughter who died when eleven years old, and Fred, who with the aged widow survive him. Funeral services were held from his late home on Monday, Jan. 10th, conducted by Rev. H. Bradley Sayre, with interment at Waterloo." (Geneva Daily Times, 11 January 1910)
