Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg with the Rev. Dwayne Sheumaker officiating. Burial will be in Raleigh Masonic Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 13, 1918, in Raleigh to the late Roy and Cora (Steinsultz) Naugle. On June 14, 1936, she married George Lasseter, who preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 1998.
She was a teacher at Tuscola Elementary in Tuscola and a member of First Baptist Church of Harrisburg. She was a member of the NEA (National Teachers Education Association), TRA (Teacher Retirement Association), Women's Club, Library Club and past member of P.E.O. Chapter Z.
She is survived by a son, John (Jennie) Lasseter of Carterville; daughter, JoAnne (Roscoe) Rahn of Springfield; six grandchildren, Douglas (Mickie) Rahn of Springfield, Richard (Pam) Rahn of Bettendorf, Iowa, Roxanne (Greg) Gardner of Springfield, Damen Lasseter of Richmond, Va., Laura Lasseter of Winter Haven, Fla., and Lisa Lasseter of Carterville; eight great-grandchildren, Ryan Rahn of Neesburg, Nathan Rahn of Springfield, Zachary Rahn of Springfield, Evan Rahn of Bettendorf, Iowa, Caleb Rahn of Bettendorf, Iowa, Breanne Gardner of Springfield, Brooke Gardner of Springfield and Kathryn Gardner of Springfield; a niece; and a nephew.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Naugle.
