NELSON FUNERAL TO BE FRIDAY AFTERNOONLocal Woman had Made Home Here for Last 33 YearsFuneral services for the late Mrs. Lou Nelson, who passed away at the family home here Tuesday morning, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Whitmore Funeral Home with burial in the Buckley cemetery. The Rev. Alva Crackle will officiate at the services. The Degree of Honor will be in charge of the services at the grave.Mrs. Nelson had been in poor health for many months and her death was not unexpected. She came here with her husband 33 years ago from Arnold, Nebraska . Most of the time she lived on the ranch on the Collins road until it was sold to the state this spring.She was born July 3, 1873. at Owensboro, Kentucky, and as a young girl moved with her parents to Nebraska.Surviving her are one daughter, Mrs. Harold Parkinson and a son, Howard Nelson, and one grandchild, all of Buckley, three sisters, Mrs. Mable Kruser, Mrs. Lydia Seaney and Mayme Hircock, all of Arnold, Nebraska; three brothers, Walter Bailey of Arnold, Nebraska; James Bailey of Manhattan Beach, California; and Bert Bailey of Wilkeson. The Buckley business houses will be closed from 2 to 2:45 Friday afternoon for the funeral of the late Mrs. Lou Nelson.
