Family records indicate that she died in 1833, but the 1840 US Census indicates that she was possibly still living with her husband and two daughters at that time. It is thought that her husband was buried next to her in St. Stephens Catholic Cemetery. Records of that time were not compete and a tornado went through that cemetery, which dislocated or destroyed a number of markers. Her husband's marker was found and replaced on his approximate grave by descendants.
