Services for Ruby E. Shepherd, 83, of Geneseo, formerly of Moline, are 11 a.m. Friday at Gibson Funeral Home, Erie. Burial is in Erie Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time Friday. Memorials may be made to Hammond-Henry Hospital Extended Care Unit, Erie Baptist Church or First Baptist Church, Moline.

Miss Shepherd was born March 26, 1920, in Fenton Township, the daughter of Joseph and Flora Wohrley Shepherd.
She had been employed at the former Moline National Bank starting in the bookkeeping department; she was a teller for many years and retired from the payroll and health-insurance department.
