Ana Elizabeth Apffel (Apffelin) was the wife of Johann Georg Dorn. They were married in Freckenfeld on May 8, 1764. They immigrated from Germany with the Palantines to Charles Town (Charleston), South Carolina on or about December 16, 1764, aboard the ship, Union.

On December 24, 1764, Johann (George) Dorn was granted 250 acres of land on Sleepy Creek aka Rocky Creek in the Edgefield District (County) of South Carolina.

Ana was the daughter of Johann "Wendel" Apffel (b.abt. Dec. 11, 1700) and Anna Catharina Hanigin or Haenigin (b. abt. May 4, 1706).
